During the Harvest Festival held at Tapu Te Ranga Marae, Island Bay on Saturday 20th February 2010, there was a Powhiri to honour and thank Sir Michael Fowler, the Sisters of Compassion and others for their ongoing support over the years. The Sisters found it moving and appreciated being part of the ongoing history of the Marae. The Marae is the home of Bruce Stewart, his family and their descendants and anyone else who desires to live in a sharing way. The Marae concept of sharing with people of all races and creeds echoes the voice of Suzanne Aubert who gave of her time and talent to all those in need of all creeds and none.
