Women from the Pacific have had the opportunity to have their novitiate formation at Chanel Home of Compassion since 2005. Sister Esther Powell is the formation directress. The inter-novitiate programme with other religious congregations has enabled the novices to participate in scriptural and religious life programmes with local and international tutors including Brother Kieran Fenn FMS.

Sister Tematoro made her First Profession in November 2008 and Sister Paea made her First Profession in April 2010.
