Convent Villa - WanganuiShort Stay FacilityThe Aubert Home of Compassion have refurbished and converted what was the Convent on the grounds of the Home of Compassion, Wanganui.
The upstairs rooms are also available as bed and breakfast accommodation for a donation of $25 per day. Twenty four hour assistance and support is be available from staff. There is a chapel in the grounds where Mass is said daily. Facility Suitable for:Convalescent Care and care for people discharged from Hospital requiring minimal nursing care Caregiver’s Relief or Respite Care Bed and Breakfast accommodation Short term accommodation in the fully furnished flat Not Suitable for care at the facilityIt is not the intention for this facility to house any person needing Hospital or Rest Home care Facility is not suitable for children Payment is by donation. The facility has seven rooms, three of which have twin beds, which will accommodate people who require assistance and support in a secure environment. We also have a fully furnished flat overlooking the Wanganui River which is available to rent short term and has 1 double bed and a bed-sitter.
