Wellington Prisoners Aid and Rehabilitation Society [PARS]The Wellington Prisoners Aid and Rehabilitation Society [PARS] provides support services to prison inmates and their whanau. We work with inmates at Arohata and Wellington Prisons, and with people released in Wellington city. We help people with accommodation, income, employment and relationship concerns. Wellington PARS also provides volunteers to mind children during visiting hours at Arohata Prison, and to assist inmates with literacy and numeracy learning. We welcome enquiries from people wanting to support PARS by offering donations or working as a volunteer.
